CNN Money: NIMBY muscle grows

CNN Money reports that 78 percent of Americans oppose development of any kind.

That poll, by Saint Consulting Group, shows a 5 percent increase since last year. It also shows that one in four people have taken some sort of action against a development within the past year.

One interesting side note is that more people were opposed to Wal-Mart (61 percent) than power plants (57 percent).
