ASSESSED VALUE: $60,070
ORDERS: August 2001, ordered vacated and barricaded. A rehabilitation was undertaken, but was never completed to the City's satisfaction. Orders were reissued in December 2002 for plaster, water leaks and damage, doors, and floor structure. The building was again ordered vacated and barricaded in April 2003. In March 2004, the orders were reissued to the bank after the property was lost in foreclosure. In September 2004, the orders were issued to Fannie Mae. In September 2006, orders to barricade the building and to repair the flashing, gutters and downspots, and exterior steps were issued to the current owner. In February 2008, orders were reissued, adding broken and missing windows, trash, cornice, and a hazardous tree.
CONDEMNED: September 2008, adding a rotting front porch, stolen copper piping, a cracked foundation, and damaged siding. A criminal case was filed in March 2010, but was later dismissed for want of prosecution. That same month, new condemnation orders were issued.
HAZARD: May 2010.
REASON RAZED: Declared a public nuisance and entered into the City's hazard abatement program.
