Cause of death: Deteriorated roof and floor systems, defective doors, and broken and missing windows on the residential/commercial garage. The attached 392-square-foot house had a collapsing chimney, unfit gutters, and missing siding that was allowing in weather and vermin.
The house was condemned in July 2007 and the garage was condemned in May 2008, and both were declared a public nuisance in July 2008. Both were razed by the City.
