Wrecking Cincinnati, 12/2/08

4303 Kellogg Avenue, East End
Commercial housing
DOB: 1930
Died: October 2008
Cause of death: Formerly the River Sands Motel, this building had deteriorated structural elements, unsound stairs and railings, rotten soffits, and walls that were unpainted and not weather-tight.

More recently, the building housed an antiques mall that drew complaints about the amount of items that were left out on the sidewalk.

While there were building code orders, it was not condemned, and some of the code violations were addressed throughout 2007. It was razed privately by the owners.
