Cincinnati City Council is considering an ordinance allowing them to sell vacated Downtown alleys for the construction of a child care center.
Robin and Wichita alleys, both now part of a series of parking lots east of Broadway between New and Seventh streets, would be sold to abutting property owners Procter & Gamble and 417 E. Seventh Street, LLC for $134,340.
The property is part of the planned location of a child care center that would serve up to 200 infants through pre-schoolers and would employ 40 people.
The ordinance is currently in council's Finance Committee.
