Cause of death: Leaning parapet walls, in danger of collapsing onto the sidewalk. The interior had major damage to walls, floors, ceilings and the electrical system. It was condemned in October 2006. In mid-2007, the owner attempted to bring the building up to VBML compliance. Apparently, he changed his mind later in the year and eventually had the structure razed.
