Cause of death: A severely cracked foundation, rot in the walls, a collapsing chimney and deteriorated roof, gutters and downspouts. It was condemned in June 2004 and was apparently abandoned, becoming home to drug dealers and other unsavory characters. A criminal case was filed against the owners, but it was later dismissed. The house was declared a public nuisance in August and was razed by the City.
