Cause of death: Open to the elements, causing structural damage. The roof, gutters and downspouts were failing, the cornices were falling and the sidewalks were badly cracked. The house was condemned in March after being vacant since early 2005. It was finally declared a public nuinance in October, having been targeted by this year's 90-day neighborhood enforcement blitz.
