Team Chabris on encroachments, local market

A couple of interesting items appeared recently on the Team Chabris real estate blog.

The first one is about lot lines, encroachments and property disclosures. According to the realtor, every single house on the block of Hyde Park Avenue that they studied encroached on a neighbor's lot due inprecise measuring by metes and bounds.

The second one affirms that Cincinnati's residential real estate market is performing better than the national average. While national sales were down 18 percent from October 2006 to October 2007, here they dropped by only 8 percent. From October to November, units sold increased by 11.4 percent, compared to just 1 percent nationally.
