Jennie Key reports in the Northwest Press that Colerain Township now wants to fill the highly-visible corner at Colerain and Springdale with heavy landscaping, some kind of "vertical element" and a water feature.
At least the clock tower idea is out!
Is this really the best use for this property? I don't think so.
Will anyone even use it, or will it be solely for the enjoyment of those sitting at the traffic light for 10 minutes?
And if restaurants locate near there and provide outdoor seating, all of the landscaping in the world won't be able to hide the five lanes of heavy traffic and those hideous concrete medians.
