The Enquirer reports that Councilmember Jeff Berding introduced a resolution saying that the demolition of the 99-year-old Westwood Elementary would be a great loss to the neighborhood.
A recent CPS assessment determined that it would be cheaper to tear down the old school and build a new one than it would be to renovate the current structure.
