CONDEMNED: July 2006, for a leaking foundation, a missing portion of the roof, and unsafe framing members. The owners purchased a Vacant Building Maintenance License (VBML) and did some work, but it was never brought back up to code. It was ordered vacated and barricaded in May 2010, needing window and porch repair, tuck pointing, and paint. In October 2011, Mr. Broadus alterted City officials that he had cut off part of his thumb while doing repairs and would have to alter his timetable, despite having promised to take down the building two months earlier. In June 2012, the owners were hit with a $500 civil fine.
