Matchmaker event to highlight $80M in transportation contracts for SBEs, DBEs

With an estimated $80 million in construction opportunities available over the next year, the City of Cincinnati's Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE) wants to make sure local small or disadvantaged business enterprises (SBEs and DBEs) have a chance to bid on the projects.

On Monday, from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Duke Energy Convention Center's Junior Ballroom, DOTE will host a Construction Matchmaker Event meant to develop and strengthen relationships between prime contractors and potential SBE and DBE subcontractors.

The goal is to have 30 percent of the construction work performed by SBEs and DBEs.

Registration is required. For more information, call (513) 352-2366 or e-mail Dhana Donaldson at ddonaldson@focussolutions-inc.com.
