Two days remain to comment on draft City master plan

Those interested in contributing to the City's first comprehensive master plan in more than 30 years have until the end of tomorrow to submit their comments.

Plan Cincinnati, more than two years in the making, focuses on five core initiative areas: compete, connect, live, sustain, and collaborate.

The draft document draws upon hours of community input, the output of several working groups, and recommendations from other recent local and regional plans, including GO Cincinnati, the Green Cincinnati Action Plan, United Way's State of the Community Report and Indicators, Agenda 360, Community COMPASS, the OKI 2030 Transportation Plan and the OKI Strategic Regional Policy Plan.

Comments can be submitted to Chris Morbitzer at chris.morbitzer@cincinnati-oh.gov. Feedback will be used to update the draft document, which will be submitted to the City Planning Commission for recommendation later this summer or early fall.

Plan Cincinnati is the City's first comprehensive master plan since the Coordinated City Plan of 1980.
