Wyoming seeks input on multi-use trails

The City of Wyoming has scheduled for this week two public sessions to gain input and feedback on adding multi-use trails to green properties such as Stearns Woods, Ritchie Preserve, and Chisholm Park.

Residents are encouraged to attend the sessions on either March 13 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., or March 17 from 10 A.M. to noon. Both meetings will be held in the Game Room of the Wyoming Recreation Center, 9940 Springfield Pike.

Information provided will include proposed trail layouts, construction methods, and environmental impacts.

Wyoming's current bike-hike trail, which stretches from the North Park entrance to the recreation center, was dedicated on April 18, 2009.
