Only six days remain to register yourself or your group for Environmental Lobby Day 2010, to be held April 14 from 8:30 A.M. to 6 P.M. at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.
"Your State, Your Voice", sponsored by the Ohio Environmental Council (OEC), will focus on the topics of natural resource funding, transportation funding for public transit projects, and local environmental and conservation issues.
The day will begin with a morning training session at the Columbus YWCA, followed by lunch at the Statehouse Atrium with lawmakers and staff, lobby visits and tours at the Statehouse, and an after-hours "Cocktails & Conversation" networking reception at the Hyatt on Capitol Square.
Admission for the event is $25 per individual OEC member, $30 per individual non-member, and free for OEC Legacy Club and President's Club members.
Registrations are being accepted at the OEC event website.
The OEC will facilitate meetings between registrants and key lawmakers.
