WA Inc. joins GBBN Downtown

WA Inc., Cincinnati's oldest minority-owned design firm, has completed its move from 4441 Reading Road in Paddock Hills to GBBN Architects' headquarters at 332 E Eighth Street, Downtown.

The move solidifies 35 years of collaboration between the two firms, which have worked together on such projects as Great American Ball Park, Aronoff Center for the Arts, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, the Alms & Doepke Building, and several Cincinnati Public Schools.

"Our strategic plan for leadership transition, growth and resource improvement made this the right decision," said Henry Wilson, president of WA Inc. "It is our history of successfully working with GBBN on all types and sizes of projects, along with our vision for the firm’s future, that makes this strategic alliance such a good business decision."

WA Inc. and its nine employees will occupy approximately 4,000 square feet on the second floor; GBBN occupies the first, third, and fourth floors.

"Having WA Inc so close will allow us to continue to collaborate easier, share training facilities and resources, as well as grow stronger as individual firms and as partners on both education and healthcare projects," said Bob Gramann, GBBN president and CEO. "This is the ideal way to strengthen both our working relationship, and provide excellent professional service to our collective clients."
