Known as the Masonic Eastern Star site, the 3.4-acre parcel was once considered for a development that would complement Linden Park, a mixed-use project abandoned by Al. Neyer, Inc. in August 2008.
No development plan for the site has been approved, and no end user has been identified.
The 71-resident, 122-employee Masonic Eastern Star facility closed in 2004, with the building's inability to compete with newer medical centers cited as the reason for its closure.
