River Cities Preservation Awards next Wednesday

The 2009 River Cities Preservation Awards takes place next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Covington Artisan Enterprise Center, 25 W 7th Street.

The annual awards ceremony, held during National Preservation Month, highlights through presentations of building histories and personal accounts the outstanding preservation projects in the river cities of Covington, Newport, and Bellevue.

Categories include façade restoration, renovation, residential and mixed-use/commercial rehabilitation, adaptive re-use, stewardship, and overall project excellence.

The ceremony is open to the public.
