Cause of death: Bricks and mortar falling from the chimney, a deteriorated roof, and a large amount of litter and debris. The side stairs collapsed, the siding was rotting away and the broken and unboarded windows allowed water inside, causing damage. It was condemned in October 2006. The case went to housing court, and the owner was put on probation. She claimed an inability to finance repairs or demolition, and the structure was declared a public nuisance in September 2007. The house was put into the hazard abatement program and razed by the City.
