Cause of death: Holes in the structure with severe rotting, a crumbling chimney, and general disrepair. The house was continuously open, allowing the public inside. It was condemned in April 2007. The elderly owner, who had moved out, was unable to make repairs or pay for demolition due to health issues. It was declared a public nuisance in September and eventually razed by the City.
