Cause of death: A cracked foundation, causing the house to slide down the hillside. The roof was failing, the gutters and downspouts were worn, the windows were broken and the siding was pulling off. The house was condemned in October 2006, but the whole cycle restarted when it was sold in early 2007. A criminal case was later prepared but not pursued. It was finally declared a public nuisance in March. The structure was razed privately.
