Evendale Cultural Arts Center opening targeted for May 9

The Village of Evendale is shooting for a May 9 grand opening for its new cultural arts center.

A tentative open house had been scheduled for earlier this month.

The village has received clearance for asbestos abatement in the former Evendale Civic Center and School Building at Glendale-Milford and Reading roads (BIRD'S EYE), which was built in 1932.

They have also purchased equipment from the former RELIS School in Sharonville to put inside the building.

The open house will be followed by a one-week sampler of classes May 12-17.
