Cause of death: Fire damage, vandalism and vagrants. The roof, windows, cornice and chimney were all in disrepair. The house was issued condemnation orders in October 2006 (following others in 2002), and the owner was later convicted in criminal court. It was declared a public nuisance in April. An adjacent scrap removal business, Whitton Container, purchased the house and tore it down.
