Second Camargo Road meeting to be held Tuesday

The second public meeting on the Camargo Corridor Plan will be held Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Madeira High School, 7465 Loannes Drive.

The meeting, which will be held in a charrette format, will focus on the business district from Euclid Avenue to the Indian Hill border.

The goal of the corridor plan is to clarify the zoning code to make the corridor more attractive to developers.

While one side of Camargo Road is currently zoned for manufacturing use, the other side is mostly residential.

The study will also address underperforming structures, traffic flow along the road, and how to attract more pedestrian activity.

The first meeting on January 24 revealed that most participants wanted better sidewalks, better landscaping and changes in zoning.

Keeping the current zoning was the least popular option.

Tuesday's meeting is being sponsored by the City of Madeira and the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission.
