ASSESSED VALUE: $2,500
ORDERS: August 2005, ordered vacated and barricaded, citing exterior walks, roof, gutters and downsouts, cornice, windows, water leaks and damage, and litter.
CONDEMNED: July 2006. No contact from owner. A criminal case was prepared in June 2008, but was dropped when the property changed hands two months later and a new case was started. A criminal case was filed in December 2008. In February 2009, the owner pled no contest, was found guilty, and was placed into a housing compliance program. The plea was vacated when he sold the property to the current owner in early 2009.
HAZARD: March 2009, adding a buckled and failing retaining wall. Some work was done that summer, but by August 2012 condemnation orders were reissued, adding exterior paint, missing and vandalized utilities, and a lack of utility service. A civil fine was issued in December 2012. In January 2013, the building again was declared a public nuisance.
REASON RAZED: Declared a public nuisance and entered into the City's hazard abatement program.
