Registration is now open for the follow-up to a series of three forums on fiscal and environmental sustainability in Hamilton County, to be held March 11 from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Xavier University's Cintas Center.
Part of the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission Planning Partnership's "Sustainable Hamilton County: Reinventing Our Communities" workshop series, the session will discuss implications of the ideas, concepts, and models presented by series speakers who are national leaders in their fields.
Key concepts discussed include building on our existing urban fabric, the importance of energy-efficient practices, and fiscal sustainability.
The Planning Partnership hopes the final forum will "make it happen", helping participants in local government, higher education, and members of the public and private sector identify the resources they need to further sustainability initiatives in their communities.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
