Tickets for this year's Prohibition Resistance Tour, to be held on March 5-6 during Bockfest 2011, are now on sale.
The tours, which serve as a fundraiser for the Brewery District Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation and the Over-the-Rhine Foundation, showcase the historic pre-Prohibition breweries located throughout Over-the-Rhine, including many rarely-seen lagering cellars and tunnels.
Venues for this year's tours are still being finalized, but past tours have included the Clyffside, Kauffman, Crown, and Jackson breweries.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased on the Bockfest website. Each ticket includes a complimentary beer at Bockfest Hall (the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company Event Hall), 1619 Moore Street in Over-the-Rhine.
Held annually, Bockfest is a celebration of bock beer, Cincinnati brewing history, Over-the-Rhine, and the coming of spring.
