Volunteers are needed to prepare houses for this year's Paint the Town event this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.This year's event takes place in Price Hill on June 13, where over 1,000 volunteers from Give Back Cincinnati, Price Hill Will, and Santa Maria Community Services are expected to paint the exteriors of 60 owner-occupied homes for people who are physically or financially unable to do the work themselves.
Preparation work includes scraping, priming, power washing, and general repair.
Volunteers are asked register through the Give Back Cincinnati website. Lunch will be provided.
Another prep day is scheduled for June 6.
Since its founding, Paint the Town has painted a total of 170 homes in eight Greater Cincinnati communities.
