Remembering Cincinnati, 3/3/09

Two years ago:
  • In Over-the-Rhine, a demo permit for Meiner Flats was put on hold and 1925 Vine Street was condemned.
One year ago:
  • The City of Cincinnati wanted to issue $15 million in public improvement bonds and to swap land with Hamilton County to make way for the Metropolitan Sewer District's new Wastewater Engineering Center.
  • Phase three of the WatersEdge at Bellevue hit the market, with units listed for between $1.1 million and $1.3 million.
  • Structural steel was going up above the parking garage at Kenwood Towne Place.
  • A turn-of-the-century convenience store was razed in Clifton Heights.
