New banners available for Covington business owners

You may see some new signage popping up around Covington letting you know that stores are open and ready for your business.

Renaissance Covington, Inc. is offering the new banner signs to any business located in the Renaissance Covington District, roughly along Madison Avenue and Scott Street, between 4th and 8th streets.

Business owners can purchase the brackets and banners for just $50 by contacting Beth Johnson, historic preservation officer with the City of Covington, at (859) 292-2171 or bjohnson@covingtonky.gov.

The Renaissance Covington board was able to channel recaptured façade grant funds to help underwrite the original $200 per sign cost.
