Cause of death: Framing damage, mechanical problems, broken windows, missing gutters and downspouts, inadequate siding and paint. There was also some fire damage to the roof and chimney. It was condemned in June 2005, and some repairs were made. In 2007, a decision apparently was made that there was just too much work involved, and the owners began demolition by hand.
