Cause of death: A deteriorating roof, a collapsed foundation and openings allowing the public inside. The house was vacant for a number of years and was finally condemned in March 2005. The building was eventually sold to a neighbor, but not improved. It was declared a public nuisance in July 2006 and was razed privately - likely to extend the yard by another quarter-acre.
