Local photographer Robert Flischel has published a new book called The University of Cincinnati | Architectural Transformation: Tradition and Innovation, and he'll be holding a book signing tonight.
The 192-page volume, which took Flischel three years to produce, showcases through photography the rich architectural history of all of the UC campuses.
The 250 photographs are also annotated with little-known facts about each building.
Flischel will sign copies of the book at the Cincinnati Observatory Center, 3489 Observtory Place, tonight from 6 PM-8 PM.
The book is also available for $68 through the UC Parents Association website and the UC Bookstore, with proceeds going to support the university's General Scholarship Fund.
Flischel's work has appeared in Time, Life, Smithsonian, National Geographic Traveler and the Saturday Evening Post.
This is his third book.
