Cause of death: Bulging walls, missing gutters, and missing siding that exposed the studs to rot. It belonged to an absentee owner (Harrison, OH) who has owned the property since 1995. The City condemned the property in July 2005, and the owner made plans to donate it to the Camp Washington Community Council. That did not happen, and the City took her to court. The structure was declared a public nuisance in October 2006. The owner was entered into a diversion program, and the City was given the right to raze the building. The court case is unresolved.
