The City Planning Commission (CPC) will consider the sale of City-owned Northside property to a Los Angeles-based bakery at its meeting on Friday.
The Austrian bakery, which has not been identified by name, wants to rehabilitate three South Block buildings at 3930-3934 Spring Grove Avenue and relocate its operation from the West Coast.
The City is considering selling them the land for its appraised value of $100,000.
In 2006, the City purchased the properties from the Northside Business Association with the hopes of revitalizing the Spring Grove business district.
The City Planning Department has recommended approval.
