The City's Economic Development Committee will hear a proposal today for new condominiums on Columbia Parkway.
Property owner Theodore Gleason wants to build the 12-unit building on four parcels that he owns at 2106-2110 Columbia Parkway. The four-story structure would contain 2,000-square-foot condominium units and a 27-space parking garage, with the total footprint being slightly less than 10,000 square feet.
The subject of the hearing will be the rezoning of the parcels from SF-20 Single-Family to RM-2.0 Residential Multi-Family to allow for the greater density.
Neighbors, the City's Department of Transportation and Engineering and the Hillside Trust have voiced opposition to the project.
The City Planning Commission disapproved of the rezoning in early August.
