Over at the CityKin blog, Mike has posted about how the concession stands in the City's parks are almost always closed.
He writes about a trip with his kids to the 1,000 Hands playground at Sawyer Point. The concession stand there was closed. After a long walk (past another closed stand), he and his family had to cross the Purple People Bridge to Newport to find a concession stand with cold drinks and snacks.
