Phase two of University Edge wins LEED tax exemption

Cincinnati City Council last Wednesday approved a Community Reinvestment Area LEED tax exemption agreement with Hallmark Student Housing Cincinnati II, LLC for phase two of its University Edge student apartment development in Corryville.

The $3.8 million, 28-unit project, being built at the corner of Jefferson and Ruther avenues, has been registered with the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED for Homes Mid-Rise project.

Construction is scheduled for completion in May 2013.

All 92 units in phase one have been leased.
