Proposals are now being solicited for EcoSculpt 2011, a sculpture exhibit and competition to be held April 8-28 on Fountain Square.
Held in celebration of Earth Day and presented by the Fountain Square Management Group and the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance, EcoSculpt will feature up to two dozen sculptures made of recycled and/or recyclable materials.
Proposals and sketches will be accepted through 5 P.M. on March 11. Completed applications can be mailed to the Fountain Square Management Group, 1014 Vine Street, Suite 1420, Cincinnati, OH 45202; faxed to (513) 621-5900; or e-mailed to info@myfountainsquare.com.
A three-judge panel will judge each piece for concept, execution, and quality of construction.
Prizes of $500, $250, $150, and a People's Choice Award of $100 will be awarded during a special event at noon on Earth Day, April 22.
