Submissions deadline approaching for Green Homes Summit

The deadline is approaching quickly for presentation submissions for the 2010 Green Homes Summit, to be held November 13 at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

The summit, presented by the AIA Cincinnati's Congress of Residential Architecture and its Committee on the Environment, the Cincinnati chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council's Residential Green Building Committee, and the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati, will focus on homeowners as the true users of green homes.

From keynote speakers, workshops, and an all-day trade show, summit attendees will have the opportunity to network while learning about new and innovative green design strategies, products, and services.

The presenting organizations are calling for 60-minute presentations that provide insight into such topics as energy efficiency, life-cycle cost, carbon footprint, green landscapes, green building certification, and financing.

One-page submission forms (PDF) are due by midnight on August 1. Presenters for November's conference will be selected by the summit's steering committee.
