Two years ago:
- The second phase of Northside's Rockford Woods subdivision was named as the site of CiTiRAMA 2009, but many area residents didn't want to see it developed.
- Windows and cladding were being added to the Baldwin 300 office building, the hotel was getting started, and the parking structure was largely completed.
- One of the last remaining mixed-use buildings in South Cumminsville was razed after a buyer couldn't be found and the weather had taken its toll.
- A three-member equalization board was appointed to hear appeals to the 2010-2013 Downtown Cincinnati Improvement District.
- The City of Cincinnati accepted $2 million from Hamilton County for the inspection and maintenance of 26 county-owned bridges as part of the Municipal Road Fund program.
- In the West End, Lafayette Bloom Middle School was open to the public a day before it was to be auctioned. Building Cincinnati had a slideshow of 48 photos from inside and outside the school.
- An East Price Hill single-family, which was owned by an out-of-town investor, was razed by the City and the owners went to court.
