Two years ago:
- American Homeowner Preservation, Inc. was seeking the City of Cincinnati's support for its lease buy-back foreclosure prevention program.
 - ENCORE Cincinnati hosted a tour of Northside's HOME project houses.
 - An Oakley house was razed, either for redevelopment or for the Kennedy Connector project.
 
- The Masonic Lodge building in Carthage was rezoned to bring a martial arts, nutrition education and self-defense facility to the neighborhood.
 - Over-the-Rhine's Dana Hotel and St. Paul Village in Madisonville won nearly $1.5 million in affordable housing tax credits through the Ohio Housing Finance Agency's 2009 Housing Tax Credit Program.
 - Local Initiatives Support Corporation of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky received a $2.1 million grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service for AmeriCorps projects in Price Hill and Covington.
 - A Clifton Heights single-family that had suffered $100,000 in fire damage was razed by the City.
