Civic Garden Center to lease 18 parcels from City

The Civic Garden Center will lease several parcels of vacant City-owned land for five years, following the unanimous approval of a rental agreement by Cincinnati City Council.

The agreement includes 18 parcels, some of which have been leased in previous years. Those leases had been negotiated on an annual basis.

The Civic Garden Center will lease the following properties in exchange for ongoing maintenance and care:

The City Planning Commission approved the rental agreement at its June 18 meeting.

Civic Garden Center's Neighborhood Gardens Program includes 40 community gardens, six youth gardens, and five partnership gardens.
