A new video tour of construction progress at Cincinnati Riverfront Park has been released, highlighting a first phase that remains on time and on budget.
Hosted by Project Manager Dave Prather, the "Hard Hat Tour" provides a first look at the design concept for the new Moerlein Lager House and the realignment of Mehring Way.
Prather also details how remnants of old Cincinnati continue to be discovered as earth is moved to create the 45-acre "front lawn".
Scheduled to open April 2011, phase one of Cincinnati Riverfront Park also will include the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Stage & Event Lawn, a bike and mobility center, water features, a tree grove and gardens, a labyrinth, and a monument to the Black Brigade of Cincinnati.
