1803 Denham Street, North Fairmount
Single-family
DOB: 1895
Died: July 2009
Cause of death: Severe cracks in the foundation, a loose chimney with missing bricks, moisture entry causing structural damage. Trash littered the property, much like many of the other vacant houses on the street. Trespassers were seen entering the house on several occasions.
The house was condemned in November 2006. A criminal case was filed in May 2007, but was dismissed a couple of months later due to want of prosecution (inability to serve the summons).
In October 2007, the property was declared a public nuisance. It was razed by the City following asbestos abatement.
The house and land has an assessed value of $9,640 at the time of demolition.
