Cincinnati ready to accept right-of-way for Citirama

A part of Northside that will become the site of the next Citirama home show could soon be accepted by Cincinnati City Council.

If passed, an ordinance would allow the City to accept and confirm from Rockford Woods Development of Cincinnati, LLC the dedication of Hassman Court and an extension of the right-of-way of Rockford Place as part of the 37-home second phase of the Rockford Woods subdivision.

Rockford Woods Development of Cincinnati acquired the property as part of a six-parcel purchase in late August for $305,000.

Infrastructure work is expected to begin later this fall.

The Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati has tentatively scheduled Citirama 2010 for next June.

2010's home show will be the ninth held by the HBAGC and the second held at Rockford Woods, which hosted the event in 2001.

Past Citirama events also have been held at Betts-Longworth and St. Ann's Common I and II in the West End, Brodbeck Park and Woodcrest Park in Westwood, Spencer Hill in Mount Lookout, and the Villages of Daybreak in Bond Hill.
