Cause of death: A failing roof, falling cornice, broken and missing windows, missing siding, and trash. Water has caused structural damage to the vacant home.

The City ordered the house vacant in December 2003 and condemned it in April 2007. A court case was filed, with the owner receiving diversion under the condition that she obtain a Vacant Building Maintenance License within 3 to 6 months. She did not.

It was declared a public nuisance in April. The owner did not have $15,000 to post a bond that would have stayed the demolition, nor was she able to find an agency that would help her make repairs. It was razed by the City.
