Cause of death: Deteriorated gutters, roof, and downspouts, broken and missing windows, severe water and structural damage. The City vacated the house in June 2003, which was sold to a new owner in August 2005 for $37,100.

No work was ever performed by the new owner - despite being granted a couple of inspections. It was finally condemned in May 2007. No further contact was made with the owner, whose last known address was in Milford, and a criminal case was filed. Apparently the case has gone nowhere, and there may in fact be a warrant for his arrest.

The house was declared a public nuisance in July 2007 and razed by the City following asbestos abatement.
