Cause of death: Pieces of the house were falling off. The front porch and cornice were rotted, the roof and chimney were failing. The house had been vacant for quite some time, was often overgrown with weeds, and had animals making a home inside of it. It had been held by an out-of-town (Batavia) owner since 1996. The City condemned it in April 2008, and it was razed privately. Another unnecessary demolition.
